Plus, Lake Anna State Park is nearby as well for even more outdoorsy adventures. Don't worry about sore hiking legs, as the private hot tub is just waiting for you to soak in bliss under the stars!
There are unlimited ways to use each day, yet staying right at home base will be the way to go with all of the modern comforts needed for a memorable stay. The upper floor of this retreat will be the hub for cooking delicious meals and simply kicking back for a movie or favorite show on the flatscreen TV. The modern electric fireplace will keep everyone warm on chilly nights and the chef of the group will fall in love with the stainless steel appliances, gorgeous countertops, and bar seating in the full kitchen. This level also features three bedrooms including the primary suite complete with an en suite bath and jetted tub.
The real excitement can be found downstairs, as a game room awaits with three arcade consoles, a foosball table, an air hockey table, a ping-pong table, a flatscreen TV, and plenty of seating for everyone to get comfortable. Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Lake Wynd Lodge. Great accommodations, well-equipped kitchen with a triple crock pot server that was magnificent when we had the bigger group over for a meal. I was impressed there were flashlights, dishwasher detergent, a first aid kit and a few pods for the laundry for us to use, plus small soaps and shampoos, paper towels, trash bags, and other supplies. Many places don't give you anything. Games in the basement were so much fun. Hot tub was clean and hot, easy to use. There were a few things that need attention, like any place. Only issues for me is that the same items were listed in prior reviews and nothing was done about for our stay in July. I found two wheels for the dishwasher bottom rack, one in the pantry and one out in the dirt and returned them to the dishwasher. The rack is still hard to pull out, but not a big deal. Hot tub seemed to be too hot sometimes but might have just been the black covering on a hot day. Shower on first floor was slippery and I was glad my 85 year old mom wasn't trying to use it or she'd have fallen for sure. I wore my flip flops in there and it was fine, but maybe add a bath mat or something or strips to give some traction so no one gets hurt. The dryer takes about five cycles to dry anything. It might just need the exhaust line to be cleaned out. Hoping you'll address these minor issues so the next guests will give perfect reviews. Well worth the stay. My first time using Vacasa and I was impressed.

Summary: Our group is someone who appreciates the highs and generally adjusts lows on a property. We have stayed in quite a few places and have never under rated a property. But, we couldn't avoid it for this place. The Good: - House: Inside was pristine clean, Didn't find a spot of dirt. - Game room: Families and kids had a ton of entertainment in the game room. The foosball game was missing the ball. As soon as we called the management company, someone immediately brought a new ball. - Master bed/bath: Big, nice and cozy. - Interior: Neat and pleasant setting. - Supplies: There were enough supplies of laundry detergents, dishwasher tablets, trash bags, cooking utensils etc. The Bad: - Lock: The code that was given to us for the lock did not work. We had to call the customer service for a new code. - Door/Bath mats: There weren't any door mats or bath mats around the house. There was nothing to wipe off your wet feet if you walked in from the deck/patio. Not even the bathrooms. - Towels: The bath towels provided were smaller than the regular size and it was one per person. It is not a problem unless you use the hot tub. Because there are no pool towels. You have to use the same wet towel for getting off the pool and the shower right after. -HOT TUB!!: It was DIRTY. There was a brown soap sard like thing that kept gathering and forming in the water. We tried scooping them out many times but it just kept coming over and over again when the jets were turned on. Also, only the jet on one of the seats was functioning, others didn't. We called the management company about the dirty water but no one attended it. My son got sick and was coughing all day after that and threw up a couple of times. - Dishwasher: The bottom rack of the dishwasher was missing wheels which made it very difficult to load and unload the dishwasher every single time. - Bathtubs: All the bathtubs were very slippery when wet. It felt like there was soap under the foot and one had to be very very careful when taking a shower. - Hand soaps: Some of the hand soaps were mixed with water. - Basement bedroom: The queen bed in the basement was a metal frame. Not sure if it was too old but it kept creaking and made so much noise even for a small movement. Sleeping was very difficult. The blankets were sherpa which made us feel too hot. It would have been better if a fan was there. I wish we had a better experience but it turned out bad and made us regret the choice we made.

Summary: This house was gorgeous! Everything was new and in great condition. We had a little difficulty with the lock code but the property management company helped us right away. The place was spotless. The hot tub was relaxing and amazing. We enjoyed using the fire pit! Our only complaint was a loud beeping noise from the hvac closet. We contacted the property management company but nothing was ever done about it. It was annoying to the guests that were sleeping in the basement. I would definitely rent this house again!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was large and clean, the lower level was a great place for the kids to play. Everything was very clean and working properly. The checkout process was simple, which we appreciated.

Summary: This home had everything... lovely large bedrooms enough to sleep my family of 10, a game room for the kids, a hot tub for the adults, plenty of sitting space for movie and game nights, ample kitchen for cooking and eating and a large, state of the art refrigerator. If we had been present in the summer, we would have used the available kayaks. The neighborhood was lovely for mid-afternoon walks to the lake and was close by to several restaurants, shops, breweries, cideries, and wineries. We have been to Lake Anna before and this home is more modern than the others we have stayed in, though it is not close to the shore.... it is about a mile-1.5 mile walk to any dock and there are no public beaches or docks nearby. Our only hiccups were at check-in when the door code did not work, a hot tub technician was on-sight who startled us, and the arrival of a cleaning crew after we had checked in. There was some confusion about who was who, but the property manager was able to help and ultimately reprogram the door lock. Very good communication and quick solutions. We would definitely stay again, perhaps in the warmer months when there are more outdoor activities to do and more regular hours for the local businesses.

Summary: We had a great time at the house, beautiful location, quiet neighborhood, and convenient for all involve, the only problem was not having any cleaning supplies and almost running out of toilet paper. But besides that we would possibly go again.

Summary: Beautiful home for a relaxing getaway. Lake Wynd Lodge has everything you need: a well stocked kitchen with upscale appliances, comfortable beds, large TV's, game room, fire pit, kayaks, and hot tub! The house is super close to the lake with a reserved boat slip. We will definitely be back!
